My name is Mike Rogan, and, if you’re reading this, you’ve stumbled upon my website – one way or the other.

I am a Business Intelligence professional in the IT industry. I currently support Business Intelligence for the Americas Group at Lenovo. In a nutshell, this includes such things as data warehouse activities, market segmentation, analyzing business trends, and developing strategic insights into the future for the executive team.

In my spare time (when I don’t have a laptop open somewhere), I enjoy spending time with my dead-sexy wife (Stacia), running, and traveling. Check out Stacia’s (aka Webchicky) site!

I’m originally from Upstate New York (a place called Elmira that I would bet you haven’t heard of – it’s near Rochester/Buffalo). I have lived in Raleigh for almost a decade now (hard to believe)! 🙂

While I’m not a native, I am really glad to live in North Carolina. It’s a great place to be for the field I’m in and provides a great quality of life outside of work (beach and mountains are *easy* weekend getaways). It is also a rapidly growing area (the City of Raleigh alone has added 100,000 people over the past 5 years/1.2 million total population in metro area) which means that things are always changing, with new construction and opportunities popping up all around.
